Services Provided in the Home

In-home Services provided by Partners In Prime include Independent Living Assistance (ILA) and Companion Services.  In-home assistance is one of the social services offered by Partners.  Staff members work one on one with older adults who need limited assistance with daily self care and household chores such as managing a household budget, paying bills, self care and housekeeping. 

Most of today's seniors were raised in a 'don't ask' generation, but through connections with in-home care providers, seniors can find answers and solutions to their daily needs.  In-home services are another way that Partners In Prime enhances the lives of people age 55 and better.

History of the Program

In May of 2000, Partners In Prime started providing Independent Living Assistance and Companion Services to people over the age of 60 in Butler County.  Since the creation of this program, we have served hundreds of clients by providing just the amount of support necessary for each individual to maintain his or her independence at home.

• What is ILA? Independent Living Assistance (ILA) assists clients with banking, health insurance, applying for programs, monitoring mail, and arranging appointments. ILA Telephone Program assists clients by providing a daily telephone call to remind them take medications, or to just check on the client.
• What is Companion? Companion services serve to reduce isolation and provide socialization for individuals who live at home. This includes shopping assistance, assists with writing letters, meal preparation and providing companionship.

FAQ's

• When do we provide ILA and Companion services?
  Most clients receive our services Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00pm. Companion clients usually have a specific day and time for their visits. ILA visit vary based on each client's needs and time that is authorized through their Elderly Service Program Case Manager.
• Do clients pay for ILA and Companion services?
  We do not charge clients for our services. We are funded through the Elderly Services Program. Donations are always welcome and are needed.  
• How do we get clients?
  We are a service provider to the Elderly Services program.  A Case Manager from the Elderly Services programs will send out a request for services for ILA or Companion services.  Individuals who do not qualify for Elderly Service Program support, can obtain our services through private payment as well.  For more information on private pay service, contact us at 513.867.1998.
